Yorik and Nyarlathotep illuminated by my LED lantern. This was my only source of reliable light until I remember I actually had candles to burn.

This large tree smashed down near my laundry room.

There was some flooding as well. This leads down to the cul-de-sac that my main street connects. The water was considerably higher before this was taken. The flooding went all the way up the street and into the local bayou. Fortunately it never got any higher. There is a lot more flooding elsewhere, under the Hardy Toll Road bridge the underpass is about 16 feet of water. Some ponding in parking lots as well, with idiots playing in waist deep water. They will probably die of typhus or something later and infect the rest of us.

And of course this creature thought the entire experience was boring, except for the parts when she realized I wasn’t going anywhere and demanded my attention. Since I was bored out of my mind, she got all she wanted.
