Already it has become an issue of who owns who, and where the poop should go.

Like all cats I have known, the first obvious place to relieve the bladder is on the freshly laundered clothes. So, the past few days have been educational, filled with positive reinforcement and a good bowel movement. Its mostly solved, I think. I just spotted a small log behind a bookshelf.

Sigh.

It will make my kid sister happy to know that I started watching Season 1 of Lost.

It would seem to me that the sentiment expressed by "a world without nuclear weapons" would mean in a practical matter as "a world where all nuclear weapons have been used".

Those things are here to stay unless we blast ourselves down to a level of technology where they cannot be manufactured.

For once, a front moved through Houston before I had to go to work, and the rain never fell on me.

Because nothing sucks more than having to stand out in the driving rain, waiting for a bus. In Metro's infinite wisdom, they have dismantled the bus shelters that were in place, leaving only some new brickwork and a curved concrete bench. A roof, I suppose, is not a world class necessity.

Not that anyone would care, but if you roll your own software from source (like I do, and so should you, at least, on this box) and are compiling Firefox, don't include the Pango dependencies. It helps. A lot.
